This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Voxego ("we", "us", or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Voxego mobile application and this website. By using Voxego, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who this policy covers

Voxego is used by two kinds of people:

  • Guides — tour guides who broadcast live audio. Guide accounts are created by our team upon request.
  • Guests — tour participants who listen to a broadcast. Guests use the app completely free of charge and do not need to create an account.

2. Information we collect from guides

When we create a guide account, we collect and store the following information:

  • Full name
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Device information — we record which phone the Voxego app was installed and activated on for your guide account (such as the device model and a device identifier).

We collect this information directly from you when you contact us to request a guide account and during the installation of the app on your device.

3. Information about guests

Guests do not need to register or provide any personal information such as a name, phone number, or email address to join and listen to a tour. Joining a tour only requires entering the tour code shared by the guide.

4. How we use this information

We use the information described above only to:

  • Create and manage guide accounts,
  • Link each guide account to a single registered device and verify sign-ins from that device,
  • Contact guides about their account, setup, or support requests,
  • Maintain the security and proper operation of the service.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

5. Device registration and installing on a new device

Each guide account is registered to one specific device. The app works only on the phone it was installed and activated on for your account.

If you get a new phone, or want to use Voxego on a different device for any reason, you must contact us so we can deactivate the old device and complete the installation on the new one. Installations on a different device cannot be performed without contacting us.

6. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties, except when required by law or a valid legal request, or with service providers that are strictly necessary to operate the app (such as hosting infrastructure), who may process data only on our behalf and under our instructions.

7. Data retention and account deletion

We keep guide account information for as long as the account remains active.

If you delete your guide account, all of your information — including your name, phone number, email address, and registered device records — is permanently and irreversibly destroyed. Deleted data cannot be recovered.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Access to guide account data is limited to the members of our team who need it to provide the service.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Significant changes will be communicated to guides via the contact details on file.
